From a very early age, I listened to my father’s tales of how his day was at work! While most people would listen to fairytales and other magical stories, most of my stories consisted of the more fascinating things he saw while he worked as a Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional.
His Heating, Ventilation and A/C work at that time required a pretty good amount of travelling to rural areas, and he saw some incredible things.
Eventually, my father quit being a Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech and with my mother, created their own heating and cooling appliance business! The same supplier he runs to this day. When he was in his 50s and having a challenging time keeping the supplier afloat, he asked me for immediate help! At that time I was genuinely working as a Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert at their business, and my father told me that the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier hadn’t been doing all that well in years, and that he had tried everything he could think of. He then told me he was about ready to leave it all behind. There was no way I was going to let all of his strenuous work go down the drain and let this once booming supplier fall apart! I quizzed my father on all of the things he tried, and swiftly came to the realization that he hadn’t tried any form of online SEO! My dad was still in the mindset that people read the papers and listen to the radio to get their news stories. I told my father about the advantages of digital SEO, and he seemed somewhat hesitant, although he gave me the green light since we pretty much had nothing to lose. I contacted an online SEO business, and their first question they asked was about our website! Our website was fairly aged, so I didn’t have much to say. The initial goal was web building and web design, and after that the next focus was going to be SEO.
