I really need to get a couple of space heaters, but I have been putting it off.
I think I’m going to wait until they start having all of the after Christmas sales at the local hardware and home improvement stores and then I should be able to find a couple of really great space heaters.
Two of the bedrooms in my house are upstairs and for some reason, the heating system just never seems to work the right way up there. I don’t know if it’s a ductwork issue or if it’s actually something going on with my heating system itself, but the fact is that if anyone is staying the night in one of those bedrooms, they need an extra little space heater or they are going to freeze! I don’t think that we have very good insulation in this house. It’s been this way ever since we moved into this place here 10 years ago. I don’t know why we’ve never had the HVAC company check out the reason why the upstairs won’t heat up properly, but it’s just one of those things that we thought that we would have to deal with. So far, that’s been the case for us, too. Maybe it’s just because it’s an old house. I just don’t want to spend a fortune on getting a new heating system or getting all of the kinks worked out of the ductwork at this point. I know that certain kinds of space heaters can be pretty expensive too, but I think that if I get a couple of them that are on sale after Christmas, I can get out pretty inexpensively.
