I really wanted to get myself a nice new leather sofa this year for the great room. I’ve been putting it off because the kids are still little and they spill stuff everywhere. But they are getting a little bit older now and so I’m ready to finally get a new couch! However, as usual, something came up and I ended up having to do that instead. It’s really haif you’re any kind of responsible adult rd to be an adult sometimes because you always have to make the hard choices about what you’re going to spend money on and what you aren’t going to spend money on.Even though I really wanted to get a new leather sofa this year, when our heating system tore up, I realized that I was going to have to spend money on that instead. Obviously, if you don’t have a working furnace when winter is starting, that’s gonna be your top priority if you’re any kind of a responsible adult. Of course, I absolutely had to make sure that we were going to be able to get the furnace fixed because I have kids. You can’t exactly live through the winter in a cold house when you have kids that you need to heat up and keep warm on a regular basis. Anyway, I ended up paying to get the furnace system fixed and I guess I am just going to have to wait until next year to get the sofa of my dreams. Maybe that will give the kids another year to grow up and stop being so messy.
