Bob wasn’t very fond of the idea of moving in with his child and her family, however, he was finding it pretty tough to resist his grandkids.
They kept calling to ask him to go stay with them at their lake residence because they missed him a lot. He also knew that his child and her husband were completely worried about him. Bob was actually 68 years old and had fallen two months before while getting out of the shower! Certainly is a good thing his housekeeper was around to call 911. He was rushed to the hospital when the discussion of moving became more pressing. Finally, he gave in and chose to sell his residence. But, it required numerous updates, including changing up the central cooling and furnace. Bob had an old Heating and A/C machine which was about a decade old. It still made the house comfortable. However, he was able to realize buyers would be searching for modern a/c in the residence. His son-in-law helped him do plenty of the updates to make the residence as enticing as possible. His child even went ahead to get an energy-efficient a/c machine. She insisted on getting an eco-friendly HVAC machine that wasn’t cheap but added points to the house’s value. By the time they were done sprucing up the residence, the AC team had come by to install the current a/c machine. Bob enjoyed the updatement and regretted not upgrading the central cooling and furnace earlier… Probably it was just him being somewhat stubborn, yet he knew the previous a/c machine was on its last leg. The residence looked elegant, and they managed to sell it within a month of moving in with his family. Bob opted to put half of the cash into a college fund for his young grandkids.
