One thing that we need here in this office where I work, it’s a new heating and cooling system.
The indoor air quality in this building is absolutely terrible and everyone complains about it all the time.
It’s really a terrible work environment when you are constantly worrying about whether you’re going to be too hot or too cold while you’re sitting at your desk. I think that it’s awful that they just can’t get it together around here to get the indoor air quality up to speed. I mean, after all, we are working for a multi million dollar company and they should really be able to have a commercial HVAC company come in and fix things for us. It’s not like they can’t afford it. It really makes you feel that you are not valued enough as an employee. I’m not the only one who feels like this, either. I know that several of my colleagues feel the exact same way about the heating and cooling system here. I think it’s ridiculous that we have to wear our winter coats inside the office half the time because the temperature inside is just too cold. The last time I saw anyone from the commercial HVAC company here, they were just walking around shaking their heads and laughing. I actually saw them pointing at the air vents and the ductwork in the hallway. When the commercial HVAC technicians are laughing at the condition of your heating and cooling system in your building, then you know it’s time to do some upgrades!
