When you get pregnant your body temperature goes up.

I figured I wouldn’t even notice the difference. Yes, I really do. For a long time my husband and I have fought about the thermostat settings. For the first time ever I am a little happier with the AC in the house. I used to wear long pants and a jacket. Now I can comfortably walk around in shorts and a t-shirt. Late in the evening when my husband asks if I am hot too, sometimes I am! It actually has been better for our relationship that I want cooling a little more. I am very worried that I am going to get even hotter when I get bigger. I really didn’t time out my pregnancy very well. I didn’t want to be pregnant in the dead of summer and I am going to be. I am going to be 6-8 months pregnant during the hottest months of the year. Being so big is going to stink anyway, combine that with 90-100 degree heat, that is going to be horrible. I have actually been considering updating my cooling situation. I want a high velocity HVAC system. Rather than do ductless mini splits all over the house, I want tiny ductwork inside my walls to create a whole home temperature. High velocity systems quickly qhip the air from room to room and can lower the temperature in minutes. You can get both heating and cooling in this system. I am more interested in the cooling features. I feel this will be very helpful when I am 8 months pregnant and sweating to death.
