My terrible cat! The heat is way too intense in my area, however everyday this week is in the 90s as well as she is living in a fur coat. My cat enjoys being outdoors though. My wife constructed a very special cat flap in the residing room window so that she can come inside and out as well as out as she pleases. My wife also made cat stairs to the flap so that afterwards it is easier for her joints. Basically my cat enjoys to sit on the front porch with us in the morning, our side stone pad in the day as well as in the night I know she enjoys to walk around as well as hunt. She rarely comes inside the house, occasionally she enjoys a treat break where she begs for a snack, eats a bit of real food, has a cold drink as well as then goes back outside. She isn’t all that interested in being constantly indoors. With the severe heat she has been taking AC breaks. I have also started to notice that during the peak of the day she will often come inside more often than not for the cooling system. She will just lay right down on the freezing cement as well as just sit there for a bit. The best thing about her is that I figured out her favorite spot on the rug is genuinely under 1 of the AC vents! So my cat walks over to a prime cooling spot to chill down her fur. I am very proud of this animal for knowing her limits as well as taking a little air conditioner break. While she is resting inside I try to get her to drink under the AC vent for an hour isn’t great enough.
