The furnace needs replacement now

I then needed to get professional roofers in to remove the stack on the roof as well as patch it.

The previous homeowners had an ancient woodstove put into the residing room at 1 point. A brick pad was laid down, and apparently it was vented through the wood ceiling as well as had a stack on the roof. I know it was a fully operational gas furnace. However, the homeowners never once used it for heating, merely decoration. The system was clean as a whistle throughout. I also contacted a HVAC business to see if they wanted the old timey furnace as well as they informed me it wasn’t giant enough to heat a fully house. It was more like a hunting shack heater. Who would put in such a huge and invasive decorative piece as well as waste money making it fully operational? I ripped it out of my home first thing. I hated that I didn’t have a single spot to put the cable due to the woodstove. I hated the brick pad as well as the entire look of the heater. I sold the gas furnace to a girl that uses it as her man cave heater at home. I then had a whole mess of stuff to do to clean up the previous heating replacement job. I had to sledgehammer the brick out as well as redo the flooring. I also had to remove the vent as well as patch my wood ceiling. I then needed to get professional roofers in to remove the stack on the roof as well as patch it. It was more than extravagant, terrible as well as time consuming. All of that was to just remove an old school gas furnace that didn’t matter. It was such an ugly feature with the entire home as well as was displayed in most pictures online. The old homeowners were proud of it.
