Ever since my husband and I have been married, he has told me he didn’t like coffee tables in the house.

I found an adorable coffee table that I really loved, but I didn’t want to buy it knowing my husband didn’t want one in the house. It was such a lovely little coffee table, and I thought it was perfect for between our living room chairs. Every time we drove by that yard sale, I looked to see if the coffee table was still there. After three days, the coffee table was no longer in the yard. I stopped and asked if the coffee table was still for sale and the owner of the house told me they had sold it about an hour earlier. It bummed me out knowing the coffee table had been sold, but it wasn’t like I could have bought it. When I got home, my husband was in the garage, and he asked me not to go into the house yet. He said he had something to show me, and he wanted me to wait a minute. When he came out of the garage, he told me I was to close my eyes before we went inside. Sitting in between our living room chairs was the coffee table I had been looking at. My sister had called and told him how much I wanted it, and he went to the yard sale and bought it for me.
