I’m taking advantage of all these devices in my life, and when I refer to devices, I mean the phones, the tablets and the many computers that are all so much a part of my life.
A decade ago, I was still against even carrying a flip phone. And I sort of resented all the technology I had to learn just to do my job inside the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of my office! So I’ve begrudgingly adapted to the fact that technology is here to stay, but now, I’m just going to start using it more in order to help me get more stuff done. When it comes to being inside the central a/c of my home, I tend to shut my brain off, however I spend so much time inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of my office, that I seem to just naturally click off when I come home. And while I know it’s important to have a work/life balance, I know maybe I take it a bit too far, however that’s because there are a whole lot of things I like to do around this new home and I tend to forget them. It’s not fair to my partner to have to remind me all the time to do the stuff that is my responsibility. So that is where this new strategy with all my devices comes into play. I’ve begun setting alerts for things like changing the Heating and Air Conditioning filter. I’ve also been busy with alerts months in advance for Heating and Air Conditioning repair as well. If I don’t maximize and utilize the technology I have, I’m not going to make stuff like the Heating and Air Conditioning chores a priority. And since I have all this technology, I might as well make good use of it. Besides, the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment inside our new home is essential to my comfort.
