Whether you’re in the market for a gas furnace, a high efficiency furnace, or even an old school space heater, you will probably be able to get a deep discount if you buy one in the summer. The other thing that you might not have considered is how busy your local HVAC business is during other times of the year. Sure, they might have A/C emergencies that happen during the summer, but generally, spring and fall are the busiest times for them. That’s because most people schedule their annual HVAC maintenance to be completed before the summer heat or winter cold starts up in earnest.
