I really hate sleazy sales people.
- And unfortunately, I had no choice but to deal with one of those people recently, because of the great deal on a few space heaters, and other heating and cooling products I thought I was getting.
One of which was a new central heating and air conditioning system that was supposed to have a wonderful SEER rating for top of the line energy savings. I was a little weary about getting this one heating and air conditioning system, but the salesman kept telling me its SEER rating was so great and guaranteed me a large drop in my monthly energy bills. After he sold me on this great SEER rating air conditioning and heating system, I had it installed. When I got my first energy bill the next month I was shocked with anger! This HVAC unit actually raised my energy bills! At this point, I knew I had been conned. I called my local heating and air conditioning company to ask them to check out my central heating and air conditioning unit and its SEER rating. The SEER rating was in fact one of the possible worst! The sales rep that conned me was going to have legal action taken against him and his shady store. It turned out, that when I looked into this, the store was not at all to blame. It was the sales rep trying to make sales quota. They offered me a replacement HVAC system for free with a good SEER rating. They also fired that sales rep!
