My coworker has a different proposal of corporal punishment, then she thinks it is a fun & superb punishment to take away weather conditions control in her house… The people I was with and I were standing down to have supper together yesterday, & she told myself and others a silly story; Her child got into trouble at school, when he was teasing some of the other adolescents.
The kid is only in ninth grade, however they take that stuff seriously.
He acquired detention from the school, however his mom didn’t think that was enough. She decided to take the A/C component out of his dining room, however if you ask me, I thought it seemed a little harsh, especially while I was in the middle of the summer. The people I was with and I are almost at the end of the Spring semester, & the un-even temperatures outside are incredibly hot & humid. I would never punish my child by taking away the A/C unit. I don’t have any proposal what type of relationship my coworker & her child have, however it does not seem absolutely healthy. I understand the need to punish your child for bad behavior, however it seems that A/C is no longer a luxury when the outdoor un-even temperatures are hot enough to cook an egg. The outdoor weather was 69% humidity yesterday & the outdoor temperature was 91 degrees. If every one of us lived in the middle of the frozen tundra, I would not take away the heat. I often wonder what the department of children & family would say about the actions, however I don’t want to open a can of worms with my coworkers. I have to work with her everyday, & I need to mind my own business.
