I was actually excited to be in this new office at our house since I have always wanted an interesting job from home. Well, this new job actually allows that. I job for an advertising company that pays me to write articles about heating as well as A/C equipment. It can get kind of tedious often times, although I can do my job at home. Since I had always wanted an office area at our house, I was given one of the rooms upstairs to use. I was given this one because it is the one that struggles with climate control compared to any other room in the house. Though the air from the furnace as well as a/c reaches this section of the house, it doesn’t stay as comfortable as the rest of the building. It is drafty up here, which means that I can get cold while I am busy working. I am not sure why the heat escapes this room so easily, although I knew that I couldn’t adjust the thermostat to make it any warmer. If I brought this room up to the right temperature, the rest of the house would become as hot as an oil furnace. It would be really awful. Instead, I decided to purchase a great space furnace for this new office. This great space furnace happens to be the radiant kind of space heater, which meant that I wouldn’t get distracted by the sound of a fan running. It had a thermostat on it, so I could adjust the temperature to the degree and also not have to run and forth all of the time. With this great new space heater, my home office is actually comfortable most of the time. Not to mention I am able to work more productively than ever before. Although, once summer comes, I will be forced to decide if I need a small a/c in here as well.
