I couldn’t imagine what life would have been like without a furnace.
Furnaces are great because they are always keeping your house warm! You don’t have to do anything to the furnace to get it going.
All you need to do is give it electricity and set the thermostat, and the furnace will keep you warm throughout the winter. Nowadays, when we wake up in the middle of the night or early in the morning and feel chilly air we are terrified. We immediately call the HVAC professionals to come to fix our broken furnace. That is not how it used to be, but before the days of the furnace, people used wood stoves and fireplaces to heat their homes. These HVAC systems were very easy to maintain and use. If you could build a fire, it could heat the house. Sure, it was inconvenient to not have a thermostat but people were warm. It sure would have been romantic to cuddle with your wife with a burning fire in front of you! What people don’t know is that they would let their fire die throughout the night. Without a furnace to heat them always, their houses would get freezing cold. In the morning, you would have to wake up early and light the fire in the freezing cold… Even though furnaces are more complicated and expensive. I really love being warm in the morning without starting a fire. Besides, we have HVAC workers that will come to fix our furnaces for the same price that it costs to fix fireplaces. Furnaces are the superior HVACunit for heating needs.
