Ever since I was a kid, I have had seasonal allergies.
Whenever the flowers are blooming, my allergies are the worst.
Ragweed, fresh cut grass, and pollen are absolutely awful. A few years ago, I had a really bad case of pneumonia. Ever since that, I feel like my allergies are even worse. I’m sure it’s just in my head, but it seems like I am allergic to everything now. The slightest smell sets me off, and some mornings I can barely breathe because of my soap. My eyes start to water, my nose runs, and sometimes my throat feels swollen as well. I spoke with my doctor about the allergies, and he suggested that I purchase an air purifier for the bedroom. I don’t have a ton of money to spend on an air purifier, but the doctor assured me that there are many affordable choices available on the market. It turns out that he was right, and I found several options at the corner hardware store. I decided to select a UV air purifier, because it seemed to be the best. Between all of the customer reviews, this air purifier had the best scores and remarks. The UV air purifier has a small ultraviolet light inside and that light kills the germs. There is still a filter that needs to be changed every other month. I hope the UV air purifier will provide with some relief, because my allergies seem to be getting worse everyday. If the UV air purifier doesn’t work, I’m afraid I’ll have to start living in a bubble.
