When our cabin kept having issues with overheating in the Winter time and overcooling in the summer, I thought I must’ve been cursed. Why else would I be dealing with an issue care about this? How more than 2 people have dealt with their cabin being too chilly while I was in the summer, or too warm in the winter? Well, I seem to be a single of the few. The cause was easy enough – I would leave for work every morning, and have to leave the heating or air conditioning systems running while I was in the day. This was just so the place would stay at the same comfortable temperature setting, as anything else would cause the cabin to become too uncomfortable when I got back home. This was superb for ensuring that I came cabin to a cabin with excellent temperatures and air quality, however it was disappointing since I had to fork out so much cash to spend our money for the upkeep and repair! It got to a point where I had to spend our money cash for a smart control unit to be installed at our home, all to keep the cabin feeling cooler or warmer for longer without costing an arm and a leg to operate. When I had the smart control unit installed, I saw a major improvement in energy use within a week’s time! This was due to the smart control unit turning on the air conditioning unit about half an hour before I was going to get home. Now the cabin would be pre-cooled with the air conditioning running, and I wouldn’t have to cool the cabin all day long to make it happen!
