Friendship is all about having people who truly have your back.
I can name a bunch of people who I thought were friends but ended up turning their backs to me.
It’s crazy how fake some people can be to your face, but it’s usually only that they want something out of the relationship. They aren’t really motivated by having your back but more so only care about what’s going on with them and how they can use you. There are only a handful of friends who I realize truly have my back. When I wanted to install a new HVAC in my home, a few of those friends were down to help me out. They didn’t want a huge amount of money for the help either, they were happy with pizza and chicken wings. Of course I had drinks for everybody as well, it was the least I could do when I had a small crew of friends help me install the new ductless mini-split HVAC I had delivered to my home. I wouldn’t say it was the easiest job in the world because I am no HVAC professional, but one of my friends knew a lot about installing this type of HVAC system. He said if it were any other type of HVAC system, he probably wouldn’t have been confident in helping, but these ductless mini-split HVAC systems can be installed by yourself if you have a little bit of help. I’m thankful for the people who actually are there for me and were there when I truly needed the help.
