If you want to know about a nightmare of a situation, try imagining going through the summer season with extremely hot temperatures and no air conditioning.
That is precisely what happened to me this past hot season and it was not a walk in the park.
I was entirely miserable for a majority of the time. I at least had some stationary fans as well as my ceiling fans, but nothing compares to the cooling air coming from the HVAC vents. You are probably wondering why I didn’t just call up the HVAC company and have my cooling system restored to working condition. The thing is, I was broke as ever. I was having enough trouble just making my car and house payments, let alone calling for an expensive fix to my HVAC system. There is something I know now that I didn’t know at the beginning of the summer. I learned about HVAC system maintenance plans when I finally was able to get an HVAC technician to my house to take care of my furnace. When I let him know that my cooling system wasn’t working, he couldn’t believe I went without it for the whole length of the summer. He told me that I should have enrolled in an HVAC system maintenance plan. Then I would evidently have everything covered for a reasonable yearly rate. I wouldn’t have had to pay right away and I could have had working A/C through the hot season. I hit myself on the forehead and I was dumbfounded. I think I am going to sign up for an HVAC system maintenance plan so I won’t have to worry about my HVAC having problems anymore down the road.
