I love it when I find things in my own house that I did not even realize that I had. I have been slowly decluttering my house, and it has been quite the project. My family and I are pretty much all pack rats. We love to have lots of stuff, and we often keep things that we shouldn’t. I am trying to break myself of that habit because doing this decluttering project has really opened my eyes to just how much stuff we really have. I have found some pretty useful things though. I found a space heater the other day, and it has been rather useful. I actually was quite chilly as I was trying to declutter my attic, and that is when I found the space heater. It is a pretty nice space heater, and it works well to heat the attic space. That heater has made it so much easier to clean out the attic. I almost quit cleaning the attic right before I found the heater because I was so cold. My husband came up to the attic after work to help me, and he asked me why I bought a heater. I told him that I didn’t buy it but that I found it, and even he was surprised. He usually knows what things we have; he just has a hard time finding them. He had no idea that we had a heater in the attic though. It sounds funny, but I was sort of proud of myself for finding the heater that neither of us even knew that we had.
