It doesn’t take a lot of change to save on my energy bill.

I wish that someone would tell the employers that they should give us raises to match the way our energy bills are going up. It seems that my bills are still rising and my paycheck is on a standstill. Now, with the recession that has come with the coronavirus, my paycheck isn’t going nearly as far. I had to settle down and figure how to save some money. Everyone was home and I was serving three meals a day. My air conditioning was being used full-time to keep everyone comfortable. That meant that my biggest bill was my energy bill. I thought it was going to be a real pain to be able to save money on my energy bill, but I was wrong. I quickly found that I could get a 20 percent reduction in my HVAC costs. I have a Smart Thermostat, but I never thought to set it with climate control. With climate control, my Smart Thermostat would set the indoor temperature according to the outside weather. I have Zone Control, so I could set the thermostat in the rooms that we were using, with the Smart Thermostat. I could also use the thermostat to turn the HVAC off in the unused rooms. Along with sealing all areas where heating or air conditioning could escape the house, I can easily save money on the energy bills. I love knowing that with a few simple tricks, I can still be able to enjoy being with my family and not going totally broke. It took awhile for me to figure out how I was going to accomplish saving money, but I’m sure it’s going to work.
