Indoor air problems due to shared vents

Indoor air problems due to shared vents

My boyfriend Mike & I were living with his parents for 6months. I was definitely working down at the cannery on the minute shift & our boyfriend was at lake house caring for our children. The people I was with and I had a nice house before both of us moved in the house with them, however it was filled with rodents, ants & roaches & so both of us had to move out. Things were going unbelievable until our boyfriend got into a major fight with both his parents & they told us that both of us had to move out. The people I was with and I needed to find a place suddenly & the only vacant house was inside a building with more than three other tenants. It’s cheap, however there are some problems. For instance, all of us all share the same water heater. If everyone showers at the same time, the last guy does not get to have a moderate shower. The people I was with and I also use the same Heating & Air Conditioning unit & the same air vents & ducting system. This has been a major concern since the first morning both of us moved to the new location. My boyfriend & I do not keep any pets because both of us have bad animal dust sensitivities. One of our neighbors has a cat & both of us regularly sneeze. The pet dander travels through the Heating & Air Conditioning program through the air ducts & now both of us are exposed to the same germs & allergens. The people I was with and I now have to take Claritin everyday. The people I was with and I signed a 16 week lease, so we’re stuck with the shared ventilation program for a while. At least the house building is set right across the street from an unbelievably nice park with hoops, a playground, & a pond with ducks & fish.
