My friends and I went to the fair last month! The three of us knew it was a dangerous place to spend the evening, but we wore masks and took plenty of hand sanitizer with us.
My friends and I played a couple of games, but we did not ride any of the rides. We ate some funnel cakes and a turkey leg and took some deep fried Oreos back to the house. My bestie picked out a pink and red tote of cotton candy. While we were at the fair, my friends and I signed up for a contest to win a 25000 BTU AC component from a local Heating, Ventilation and A/C business. It was free to sign up for the contest. I had to supply my name, address, phone number, and email, No purchase was required to qualify for the contest. I forgot all about the contest until yesterday when I gained a telephone call from the HVAC business. The owner of the company was calling to congratulate me, because I won the 25000 BTU AC unit. The girl wanted to set up an appointment so they could come to my home and install the component at no cost. I thought it was a joke, but the manager assured me that I won the item and it was completely free. When I told my bestie about the cool and exciting prize, she was in total disbelief as well. The next day though, the two of us happily watched as the current AC was installed in my home.
