What keeps you going? A job, wife or husband, kids, your house? Some of my friends seem so busy with their lives that they don’t even have an hour to hang out with me.
I’m quite the opposite having none of the said things to push me day to day.
I often find myself wondering why I keep going when it seems like each day is the same episodic repetition of the day before. I guess what keeps pushing me is the hope of something better around the corner. I know I am looking forward to some new heating units in my flat which are supposed to be arriving next week thanks to my nice landlord. I told him a few weeks ago that I was really cold in the flat, as there is no central heating unit, and he went out and bought a few portable electric heaters for me. I think the other units in my building have a central HVAC system but for some reason my unit didn’t have anything. I guess some people don’t use heat in the winter, but when it gets down to 55F in the house it seems like it would be too cold for anyone to live in. I’ve been wearing more clothes in the house but some new space heaters are going to be great. I have a small kitten too and it always ends up sleeping next to me in my bed each night to keep warm. I bet the kitten will now sleep beside the portable space heater when it arrives.
