I just got the new HVAC system installed and it is really putting out some cold air.
I had to fill in three holes in the wall that were doggie doors for the two dogs that have since passed away.
We are selling the house and I painted the whole thing, inside and outside, and now I just have to paint these three patches once the knockdown texture has dried. We also got a really cool smart thermostat too and I am reading through the leaflet to try to figure out how to operate the thing. Once I do that I am going to teach my stepmom how to use it. After I do that I am totally done working on the house here and will probably never be in this house again as it is going on the market while I am away overseas and will probably be sold when I return. I’m going to miss coming back and staying here at dad’s house with the nice new cold air conditioning on these hot summer days, but it is time for a change and we have to just keep on pushing forward. I guess next time I come into town I will have to stay at my cousin’s house which is not too far from my dad’s house. My cousin wants me to put in a smart thermostat for her when I get back so I will probably put the same one that we have in dad’s house because I like it and will know how to operate it quite well.
