I am not a fan of our gas heating device. It requires a lot of work and doesn’t legitimately give off enough to require it. To start with, the upgrade of this heating program was a pain. If the heating system has a dirty filter and I don’t replace it, the dust gets into the device. The dust then will cause all the parts to punch harder in addition to work longer hours. It raises our energy bills and overheats the system. The heating system can absolutely warm over to the point it catches on fire. The heating system could overheat to the point of the heat exchanger breaking. A microscopic crack that is unseen by the eye can happen where carbon monoxide can pour out of it. This odorless, tasteless andwhite gas is poisonous. If exposed for too long hospitalization is required. Also, the heat exchanger costs almost as much as the heating system to replace. So if it busts down, might as well start fresh. The heating system also uses forced air which means the heat rises and creates cold spots in the house. You also deal with air duct in addition to that is a whole other set of concerns.
