It’s air conditioner season in this area of the country.
Most people hardly even call this time of year summer.
It’s heat season for us locals plus natives. And there is a particular acceptance about the level of heat plus humidity necessary if you’re going to live plus thrive in this area. For me, I’m not only a native however my family goes back several generations. I still assume about the stories my Grandpa would tell about living without residential Heating, Ventilation and A/C. He worked a farm plus would get up each day just before 3 AM in order to get the chores done by breakfasttime. Once the peak heating hours hit back then, there was nothing to do however find some shade, a fan plus be still. I still can’t imagine just what that would be like. I like living here plus the heat comes with that however I’m still not sure how I’d fare without the cooling comfort from the heat pump. I work at apartment so I suppose first hand just how tepid a home can get. To save cash, I try to keep the thermostat setting around 75 while in the heat of the day. Then, I lower it down to the mid 68’s in late evening so we have plenty of cooling comfort for sleep. But it isn’t just the Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling that I’m getting from the heat pump. Without the Heating, Ventilation and A/C cooling process, the humidity levels in the home wouldn’t be balanced. Without the balancing of the humidity levels from the heat pump, there would be a whole lot more mold & mildew in my life. And I can assure you that it not something that I’m looking for.
