I would not trade my furry pets for anything in the world, but they do bring their challenges.
The most surprising had to do with the heating and cooling system.
After bringing in two dogs, the air quality in my house changed. l gained from the cooling workman, that I had to replace the air filter more often. It was new to me, so I read up on this. After a while, I realized it would take more than what my heating and cooling system offered. I sought advice from a local business. The HVAC provider I consulted advised me to update my heating and cooling system. That was not an option for me, I retorted, for at the time I had to pay for surgery for one of the dogs. The alternative was to install a whole-home air cleaner. This would deliver the desired air quality. I would also need to clean the ducts to get rid of the pet dander, dust, and grime in the vents, so that the circulating air would not carry dirt and other unwanted impurities. I also had to take air conditioning system repair more seriously – summer was fast-approaching, and I needed the cooling unit at its best. The cooling system needed repair to hold out throughout the summer. I also had to implement better energy-saving tips if I wanted to reduce the energy bill. However, the control device was a different story; it needed to be replaced urgently.
