After graduating from Heating technical college, I continued & took 1 more class so that I would be certified. I did well the classwork, however when the morning came to take the test, I felt harsh and nervous. I knew that getting the task of our dreams as an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C pro relied on me passing the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C certification test. My hands were shaking so badly! it was all I could do to breathe respectfully when I walked into the lecture hall. I had myself so psyched out, that I could not remember anything that I had acquired. I had not completed half of the test when I had to get up & walk out of the class. I knew that if I sat there a moment longer; I was going to throw up. The instructor who led the certification class came out to check on me. He reminded me that the answers on this certification exam were no more difficult than what I had taken to pass the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C exam. I had to calm down, take a few slow, deep breaths, & go back into the classroom. Before I walked into the classroom, I asked the instructor if it was possible to take the test over if I didn’t pass it. He patted me on the back of the head & chuckled as he led me toward the classroom door. What he told me had me totally floored. The teacher quietly said that if I didn’t pass the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C certification exam, he would resign his task because he didn’t suppose any other Heating, Ventilation, & A/C student in there knew the information and I did.
