Portable shower containers are some of the oddest things I have ever seen. When our daughter drove from California to home to visit for two weeks, she parked her trailer in one of the many campgrounds in our area. She called us once she was settled in and asked us to come to dinner. When we were driving into the campground, we saw these odd looking port-a-pottys and asked if they were two sided. My daughter laughed and told us they were portable shower containers. She and I walked over so she could show it to me. I thought it was one of the oddest things I had ever seen. There was a toilet when you walked in, a shower curtain next to it, with a normal sized shower behind the shower curtain. It was a private portable container where you could do all of your morning ablutions in complete privacy. She told me she had never seen a portable shower container until she came here, but she liked it. She told me she had taken her sanitary towels with her and wiped down the toilet and the shower floor before using the portable shower container. Once in there, she didn’t need to worry about someone else coming in and knocking on the door for her to hurry. Of course, they had a full bathroom in their camper, but she said the portable shower containers are bigger and she was going to use it instead of a camper shower, the entire time she was back home. That’s when she hinted at staying with us a couple of days, but she was only five miles from home, and her husband and I didn’t get along very well.
