When our sibling Pat started Heating, Ventilation, & A/C classes, I knew that our ex-lover was in the very same class.
He & our sibling had constantly been friends, & I could not begrudge their friendship just because our ex-lover I were no longer with each other.
However, that didn’t mean I could not hold out some hope that Pat did better than our ex. When the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C class graduated, I told our stepmom I wanted to be there with her & dad. Stepmom seemed a little surprised that I wanted to be at the graduation until she looked me in the eye! After shaking her head & laughing, she told me I was a shrew. Shrugging, I told her I wanted to see if Pat was at the top of his class care about he thought. She’s the 1 who added that I wanted to ensure Pat bested our ex-guy. I had to divulge that I didn’t care which 1 of them was at the top of the class, as long as 1 of them made it. I knew Pat was going to be an excellent Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist. Pat had constantly worked with our dad, & he knew how to do a lot of the simple repairs on air conditioning & heating, even before Pat went to Heating, Ventilation, & A/C classes. There was, however, a very small space of me that was glad when I found out that Pat was number 1 in his Heating, Ventilation, & A/C graduating class. I was glad that our ex-lover was number more than one, even though I was more than glad that Pat was number 1. I gave both Pat & his friend a hug & congratulated them on being the top graduating Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialists & getting apprenticeships in the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies they chose.
