As I looked out at the sun bearing down on us, I was so cheerful that I was in the safety of an air conditioned car, however especially after getting stuck in rush hour traffic.

It was 5:30 and everyone was in a rush to get home, and because of that, all of us were all stuck in an endless field of cars.

Moving at the fast pace of 5 miles per hour, it was hard not to be frustrated. However, I couldn’t help however to assume thankful, because being stuck in traffic allowed me to observe those around me. In the car next to us, the guy had his window rolled down and was covered in sweat genuinely bad. Then a car behind us was a convertible and the terrible guy didn’t get to like the a/c privilege that I got. To our left, I saw more than one ladies clearly trying to exercise, however they were also covered in sweat and looked sleepy. All of these terrible people were stuck in the unrelenting heat, and here I was in our nice cool car. Thank you Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. I looked at the weather, and it was 90 degrees outside. Even more reason why I am so cheerful to have a functioning cooling device. Soon after our observations, traffic started to clear up and I was able to drive back to our house, where our central cooling system waited for me. I hope all of those other people finally got into a cool venue of their own, however seeing all of those terrible people suffering made me thankful for what I have.
