This year has been full of surprises.
- First our father-in-law passed away due to COVID concerns.
That was surprising, because all of us all thought that he was making a recovery in the beginning. But after a few days in ICU, all of us gained the bad news through a PC call from our wifey’s mother. Sadly, things didn’t stop there. It was right after that when I heard news that our Grandfather was going septic in the hospital in our home state up north, and I wasn’t even able to call him in time before all of us lost him. That’s strenuous to cope with when you’re really close to your Grandfather in the first place. Unblessedly, I don’t suppose our year of chaos and unexpected changes is going to let up anytime soon. I’ve been pushed into mandatory overtime hours at work and I’m starting to wonder if our significant other is cheating on me. I beginning to wonder sometimes if things could ever get worse from where they are at right now. Then I go and forget about increasing the filters in our air purification systems here at home! I have three separate air purification systems positioned at various locations around our house. The filters inside the air purification systems are HEPA filters with a charcoal layer on the outside. These are high-priced allergen filters! While they admittedly last several weeks, they’re still $35 a piece! That’s deranged compared to the cost of basic air conditioner filters. Granted, if you spend our money $17 for an cooling system filter and change it every three weeks, it works out to being the same price in the long run.
