Strange plus weird sounds in the basement can scare anyone.
There are lots of things going on in the basement that can cause noises.
The floorboards in the ceiling Creek when they get older. The gas furnace can make weird sounds from time to time too. The gas furnace has regularly been a source of fear with all of my children, and none of them love to go into the basement because of the sound that the gas furnace properly makes. Sporadically it sounds love a loud wrenching screech plus other times the sound is dull. I wanted my child to go into the basement to get the laundry plus he brought up the sounds of the gas furnace. I told him to leave the door open so I could hear him downstairs plus he could hear me upstairs. He agreed to keep the door open. I continued making brunch plus he went down the stairs. I heard him open up the washing component plus after that I heard the lid slam down. The sound of the metal made a loud clicking sound. My child ran up the stairs. He told me that he saw someone’s shadow in the corner of the room. I knew there was no way that he saw a shadow in the basement, but I grabbed a flashlight plus went downstairs to investigate. The gas furnace was running plus I suppose the sounds scared my son, but I did not see anyone or anything downstairs. I showed my child every part of the basement so he could see that nothing was lurking in the shadows.
