My Mom worked as a volunteer firefighter.
He died in a fire plus I knew that he was a hero.
I wanted to be a hero just appreciate my Mom so I joined the volunteer fire department as soon as I turned 18. As a volunteer at the fire department, I go to events plus shows around the county plus represent the fire department. I help confrontation fires when there are blazes in the community. There are hardly ever fires, which is why both of us can get away with a volunteer fire department. Every one of us only need a couple of people ready to go plus most of the guys live close to the fire department where they sleep there at night. I sleep at the firehouse on the nights when I have to be ready to go. I was afraid that I would not be able to hear my iPhone if I gained a iPhone call plus I needed to be anywhere fast. When both of us are at the firehouse, both of us can hear the fire alarm loud plus clear. The sound is so infrequent, that it is sudden at times. yesterday both of us had a gas furnace fire at 2:00 in the afternoon. When the alarm rang, I right away shot out of bed plus started getting dressed with all of my firefighting gear. There were 2 other guys with me. Every one of us hopped into the truck plus headed over to the address of the fire. The gas furnace fire was still in the early stages plus both of us got all of the Flames out before the fire could mangle the entire property. The fire was mostly contained to the basement plus the walls that were close to the gas furnace.
