The control unit has a lock now and nobody's glad

I have been working in the same administrative office for the past 9 years.

  • My chair has lumps in the bottom that are in the exact shape of my rump.

I have had the same exact root carona for half of those years. There are multiple other administrative assistants in the office with me. During the afternoon all of us usually turn the A/C down to a comfortable temperature. It is only the multiple of us in the office and all of us all appreciate that temperatures to be cooler. I don’t mind wearing a blazer. I appreciate the frosty air running on my neck and back. Every one of us had a meeting with the superintendent Last weekand the guy said something about the frosty temperatures in the office. The following week, the maintenance staff came to the office to install a lock on the control unit. They legitimately placed a box around the control unit with a key lock. Only the maintenance director has access to the control unit which has now been set at 73°. My coworkers and I are completely up in arms about the swings. It is bad for someone else to control the temperatures in the office. How can they possibly think if 73 is going to be comfortable or not. On a cold, drury, and rainy afternoon, 73 might be too cold. During the fall when the sun is shining brightly and the a/c is off inside of the whole building, I appreciate to have A/C in the office. Now all of us will have to abide by whatever rules the superintendent has felt fit to enact.
