The weather has been absolutely nice lately.

During the afternoon the temperatures are in the 71s and at night the temperatures are in the 50s.

This weather is perfect for camping and I have been thinking about going to the park for a while. There is a nice National Park about 15 miles away from my home. The national park has lots of fun activities like hiking, rock climbing and sightseeing. There are multiple major mountain peaks inside of the national park that are rated difficult for climbing and a cave that is open 6 weeks out of the year for adventurous spelunkers. I went online to the website so I could see if there were any camping spots available. I looked through the East and the west loop, however there were no sites available. The park had a couple of lodges, however they were many times as much currency as a camping site. I wanted to find a place where I could take my tent. I searched other campgrounds in the part however there were no possibilities at all. I decided to take the lodge for a couple of afternoons so I could still get out of town. I enjoyed staying in the lodge. It was nice to have a bathroom close by and equally nice to have heat inside of the lodge. I would not have had heat if I were in a tent. During a single of the days when I was there, the temperatures dropped down to 38°. I turned on the gas furnace inside of the lodge and I was hot and cozy.
