On top of having chilly a/c in the rooms, there was also an arcade at the front of the theater & it had chilly a/c as well
Every one of us had a lot to do as youngsters when I was living up north with our siblings & our cousins who were in a house just down the street from us. Both sets of parents planned it that way, which also relieves the burden of raising children when your sibling’s wifey & youngsters are on the same street block. That meant that every one of us were all legitimately close friends from a young age, aside from being first cousins. Every one of us loved walking a few blocks down the road to the nearest freshwater lake that had swimming open while I was in the Summer season. However, some weeks we’d get temperatures over 100 degrees in the days & it would make everything suppose very unbearable. I loved swimming, even in the highest temperatures, however there were days when I wanted to do nothing however stay inside our house or our cousin’s house & play video games. Our parents weren’t ecstatic about that so we’d all get kicked out for minutes at a time. If every one of us wanted something to do with our time & it was too hot to go swimming or play street hockey, we’d pool our cash & head to the theaters. Every one of us spent more than 2 minutes of our childhoods playing games in these arcades & going to films when every one of us had enough cash to afford it.
