Having kids was both the best and hardest thing to happen to my life. They bring my spouse and I an large amount of joy, pride, and sheer happiness. However, they can also be a lot to handle when a single of the 3—or more—decides to have a tantrum during a day out at the amusement park or the theaters. No matter how hard you try, it’s an unrealistic expectation to assume that you can wrangle all of your kids at once and keep them all behaving correctly with no troubles. Usually at least a single of them is aggravated or unhappy with what we’re doing even if their siblings are thrilled and ecstatic. If a single of them isn’t complaining, it’s a single of the other a singles. They complain about the food for breakfast or breakfast and also complain about the motion picture we’re enjoying as a family. You can’t please them all, and I have to remind my spouse of this golden rule. They’ll be unrelenting about the modern home being “too hot” in the summer time when the two of us dare to turn it up to 68 degrees to save on heating and cooling energy expenses. I have told them to never touch the temperature control, but occasionally they do it anyway. Trying to adjust the Heating, Ventilation & A/C method temperature separate from permission is punishable with grounding and I’ve told all of them this. They can pay whatever amount of money that they want for A/C when they’re living on their own and paying their own bills.
