It’s self-explanatory living in a moderate weather conditions. You can wear comfortable clothing throughout the year separate from feeling too cold or too hot. If you want to cool down the temperatures in the house, all you have to do is open a window, turn on a few fans, and care about the cool air. You can’t behave the same way in the south where temperatures climb into the lower 100s during the annoyed summer time season. When I lived in the south for most of my childhood, I had to survive exclusively wearing shorts and t-shirts for much of the year. Sometimes it would get so sizzling when I played outside with my friends that we’d even go shirtless as long as the two of us had sunscreen on our backs to prevent a painful sunburn. When I visited up north for the first time, I froze on my honestly first day and it was only November. My spouse really wanted to transport to be closer to his family and that involved going to the north. My a single terrible experience had myself and others extremely nervous. I wondered if I could handle the ice and the snow. However, my spouse tried to assuage my worries by telling myself and others that the two of us would have 2 separate furnaces in the modern home where we’d be moving. That made myself and others think a lot better because I knew I would freeze otherwise with just a central gas furnace with fan-forced heat. The people I was with and I got a steam boiler and radiant heated flooring and it keeps the modern home nice and comfortable. I don’t think if I’ll survive here for the long term future, but at least I’ll survive for the next few years.
