I was not gleeful when I came to labor plus found out that I was going to be working with the boss all day. Nobody likes to spend their day working with the boss, because you have constant scrutiny plus someone looking over your shoulder at all times throughout the day. It’s really nerve-wracking to myself and others plus I like to labor alone instead. The boss pulled myself and others aside as soon as I walked through the door. He said that he chose myself and others for the job because of my experience with radiant heated flooring. He had a commercial job at a campground. He was installing radiant heated flooring lines plus tubes plus he needed someone with know-how plus know-how in that particular area. He told myself and others that both of us would be done by 5:00 plus that he would buy my lunch. I told the boss it wasn’t necessary for him to buy my lunch, however I still let him pay when both of us opted to go through the drive-thru at Jack in the box. The boss also paid for all of my drinks while I was in the day. Every one of us stopped at a gas station in the afternoon plus I picked out 2 monster energies plus a tote of pretzels. The boss put it all on his credit card, but during the day hours both of us opted to go to a bodega plus I got a couple of Gatorades plus the boss paid for that stuff too. I thought it was going to be an excruciating experience to labor all day with my boss, however he is a pretty great guy. He worked right next to myself and others the whole day so both of us could finish on time.
