My Heating & A/C specialist neighbor & bandmate Tony actually has a taxing time with depression & last night was no different.
We met up to play at the immense church & started playing, but within half an hour, he just could not do it.
Last night he told me that he drank too much tea & was absolutely jittery, although I assume he’s just depressed & does not want to keep playing or working at the Heating & A/C appliance business. Some afternoons he does great, but then there are other afternoons where he just does not have the desire to play at all & it’s absolutely challenging to keep the momentum going like this. The local supplier near me helps people like him, so I am going to pay for his first couple of visits there to see if he improves. He works at the Heating & A/C company with me & misses a pretty good amount of work because of his sadness, so I hope that this place can help him become a happier guy overall. I got him the Heating & A/C tech job last year & he is barely hanging in there because he’s missed more than 2 afternoons of work, & the Heating & A/C boss is not absolutely thrilled about it. I have been trying to help him with lots of long talks & long walks even though he still seems absolutely sad inside. I hope he doesn’t lose the Heating & A/C job I got him. I guess he just wants to make it in songs & feels like he has not done it yet, even though he just needs to have patience. He’s an absolutely fine guitarist & singer & I guess we can do some wonderful things in the future together if he just hangs in there.
