I haven’t been sleeping well at night so I am sleeping a lot in the day too to make up for it
My male dog Rex is about six or 7 months old now and is usually honestly independent. But occasionally, including just now, I hear Rex meowing this concerned and lonely meow before he comes looking for me to hang out. Rex gets very lonely when he is alone for a long time and then breaks down and comes looking for me while making his weird little meow. Rex usually never makes any sounds at all. I normally find him sleeping behind our oil heating system in the closet where it is always hot and dark. Rex mainly just comes out to eat or use the litter box, however occasionally he gets lonely and comes looking for a warm chest to plop on top of. Rex is sleeping on our bed right now waiting for me to come in for our biweekly nap. I have another half hour or so and then I am going to take her up on that offer and go in our air conditioned room for another hour or maybe even two to rest and read. I haven’t been sleeping well at night so I am sleeping a lot in the day too to make up for it. I’ve been keeping our AC component off at night and I guess I don’t sleep quite as well because of it. I think maybe tonight I will turn it on so I can get a great night of rest and be awake and alert tomorrow for our day of work at the heating and cooling store. I also need to scrub our HEPA filters today after that nice nap.
