There isn’t much to do in this town when it rains so I will probably clean my flat and maybe even clean my HEPA filter
Today is a very gloomy and rainy day and I just went for a walk trying to connect with people as it feels very lonely this morning. I was yearning for a friendly face in this gray and colorless morning and within less than 45 minutes of being out on the streets I ran into three or four friendly faces in both friends and strangers. I first saw my temporary roommate, in the local business buying some breakfast foods, and we briefly chatted in Spanish. I then went for a swim while the cool rain came down and saw my HVAC tech friends swimming on the other side of the pier. I chatted with them for a bit while walking back in the rain. We stood in front of the HVAC business where we work and took shelter under a canopy while the rain came down. I ate my apple and kefir then and walked down the main strip to look around at the stores and see what was going on. The HVAC company where we work opens this afternoon and I will go in for a couple of hours to do some electric heat pump repairs and help some people out with their AC questions. I will probably do some shelf stocking with the truckload that comes in today and then head back home if it is still raining out.
