Poof, just like that the summer is gone and has been replaced with gray rainy skies and cooler temps.
It’s not cold yet but getting there quickly, which is kind of nice because now I can turn off my air conditioner for once and save some money.
I have an old HVAC system, and it is very inefficient, so I like to limit its use when I can. It was just way too hot this summer to not run the AC every single day. My friends told me that they never ran their AC once the whole summer, which is insane because it got up to 100 F outside in the day and didn’t cool down much at night. I need to have some coolness when I sleep or I end up tossing and turning all night, which I do enough of now when my shoulders are in pain like they have been lately. I like to have climate control when I am sleeping and then try to limit the usage of it during the day by using fans to keep me cool. I am going to go to see a horror film this coming week and will ask my friend Zoe to join me if she likes them. She moved here to work for the same HVAC company that I work for and I want to be friends with her so that it is easier to work together all day like we will be. I’ve been there for years and we welcome new people like they are family. Life is good.
