I slept pretty well again last night and feel good today.
I tried to go without AC for a few nights and it was horrible.
I was up all night tossing and turning, all to try and save a few bucks because the power rates have gone ballistic. A lot of the local businesses turn off their air in the summer too to try and save money. I guess this is not the answer as I need to sleep well to be happy in life, so I will get a roommate soon and keep my flat the temp I like. It’s just that my landlord told me not to rent to anyone else because of an issue I had with a renter last year. I’ll work more with my HVAC company job and make more money on that end too, but I am going to get someone to live with me soon and if the landlord doesn’t like it then oh well. You can’t live in a big three bedroom two bath flat alone on my income. If I work more at the heating and cooling store and get a roommate then I will be sitting pretty again and I will also be able to save money. This shouldn’t be an issue seeing that I got $100K a few months ago but the market hasn’t been so nice to me since then. I need to let that money sit and not touch it no matter what. My HVAC rep – and a lot of other people like me – are in the same boat with their investments.
