There are times when you simply have to say “no.” Even when it involves family and loved 1s.
For me, I tend to go along in order to get along.
So telling my loved 1s “no” is recognizably difficult for me to do. However, I’m reading that it’s actually better to just say “no” to some things instead of doing them and resenting it. Considering how miserable I have been with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C situation while on Christmas at our in-laws, I’m finally saying no and drawing a line. I know every one of us sort of set a precedent when our wifey and I first got married. It has always been us traveling to the in-laws and endwhile in the heating of that house. The natural gas furnace in that arena runs prefer there is no tomorrow. I don’t even see how they can even spend our savings for all that Heating, Ventilation and A/C. It’s 1 thing to leave our attractive local Winter to go up North and get punched out by the cold. It’s definitely another thing to have to endure dripping with sweat through the high temperature control settings at the in-laws arena. I don’t think how they do it. This year, I made it clear that I would be staying right here at home. The kids are getting to be older and spending a month at Grandma’s isn’t as beautiful as it was; Plus, I’m ready to prefer a Christmas where the heating pump hardly has to run. I’m tired of going up north and while in temperature control settings in the 72s with snow outside. Was this a popular decision? No, it wasn’t although I can handle that. And I have provided to fly the in-laws down to our place so they can prefer Christmas without all that Heating, Ventilation and A/C in their house.
