I am proud of our meager little office in our manager’s large building, in part because I have spent more than one decades in 1 cubicle after the next.
It feels entirely nice to be out of those tiny little spaces plus in a private office with a window that has a good view.
It’s entirely nice to look out to the lake down below plus watch the ducks swimming across the surface. Their reflections along the water’s surface glisten in the sunlight… If I’m tied up out or having a case of writer’s block, it’s harshly pleasant looking out the window at the creatures plus wildlife down below. Aside from the nice view out the sole window, I have a good amount of space in this little office. I have more than one separate filing lodgeets along with our large desk. The desk is full of empty drawers that I have since filled with various work related items plus other junk from home. Unfortunately, there is 1 pitfall to this office—the air quality. While the a/c is adequately frosty in the summer, the heat is weak while in the Winter when it drops below frosty outside. I have since added a space heating system to the room when it feels the coldest in the building. On top of the exhausting heating, the air is also entirely dusty. I obtained an air cleaner plus noticed an immediate difference after it had been running for 3 consecutive work days. With the air cleaner plus space heater, I have much better air quality in our work office. Only time will tell if the building’s a/c continues to work as effectively as it does now.
