I kept odoring burnt chocolate every time our oil furnace turned on.
I had no system where the odor of chocolate was coming from, although I knew it had to be in the air duct! My child was always asking for M&Ms plus he never seemed to get enough of them.
I didn’t see chocolate on his face, which for a 3-year-old, is pretty amazing. I wondered where the chocolate was going, plus I was pretty sure he was the reasons or the odor of burnt chocolate. The Heating plus A/C supplier arrived plus had the same thoughts that I had. He checked all the air ducts plus found a pile of melted M&Ms in the one. He told myself and others that wasn’t our only problem, and while checking the air ducts plus air duct, he found many holes plus cracks. He knew most of it could be repaired, however there were more than one holes he was genuinely sad about. He thought every one of us could update a short section of air duct, however he had to have the air duct checked by professionals. He called the Heating plus A/C supplier to have the air duct cleaned plus checked, plus he wanted to feel about all the holes, however once they looked at the holes, I was told the air duct would need updated. I wasn’t sure our hubby wanted to completely update the air duct. Every one of us were waiting until the oil furnace reached its max plus were planning on installing ductless Heating plus A/C. To think all of this started over a few M&Ms plus the odor of burnt chocolate. I’m wishing I hadn’t called the Heating plus A/C business..
