My daughter has been having the best time since she joined kindergarten. I must admit I was a little worried if she would adjust to being away from her dad and I; When I found out I was pregnant, the people I was with and I agreed I’d cut back our hours at work, and raise our child until they joined school. I was back at work on the exact day she went to school working full time and it felt great. But, I was also worried about her being with strangers all day, come option up time, I was early waiting to hear how it went, and she had the best time. Her hair and clothes were messy which I always take as a sign of a child who had the best time, last winter, she had to stay cabin for a single day because the heating system at school had failed. Man let me tell you, this little girl threw the mother of all tantrums. She couldn’t understand how the people I was with and I had heating in our home, and the people I was with and I refused to take it to school so she wouldn’t miss being with her lecturer and friends. My daughter easily told her dad to detach the heating system at our home, and take it to school in her car. When they finally repair the system at her school, daddy could go back and take it. The two of us tried our best to explain that’s not how things work, even though she kept crying and saying the people I was with and I didn’t want her to be with her lecturer. It took our sister coming for her to spend the day for our daughter to calm down. The lecturer called later in the day to say the heating system was back on and I shared the hilarious events of that afternoon.
